Don't care what Trib thinks, never did.

I read today in the trib how I need to remember who the Senator is for Westmoreland County. Last time I checked Sean Logan is my Senator, plus there are several other all of whom I respect. I live in New Kensington. I will tell you this, it is my sincere hope that Kim refuses to help her district because of the lack of respect I show her. I will assure you that if that happens I will make a point of telling as many people as I can. I did not support Bob Regola when he ran four years ago and it never seemed to effect what he did for the county. The Tribune Review would do well to remember just who doesn't care about what they say. I stand by my opinion that Kim should vacate her position so that the new commissioner can go through the budget process with us. If she doesn't, which I believe she must, I would like to give the opportunity to whomever is going to be here to come in and participate in the budget process. That person shouldn't have to live with a budget that was set by someone on thier way out.

Trib needs to change

As I woke up this morning the first thing I did was remove all of the references to the past election on this blog and my other blog www.bomp-ward.com. I simply put up and statement of congratulations to all the winners and thanked Tony Bompiani. Then I went to the Tribs website only to see the venom being spewed by its editorial staff about the results of the election. I believe in these hard times we live in everyone needs to put the differences of the past behind them and work together in a constructive way to move this country forward. In today's world there is no room for the hate put forth by the trib.
